Look Up This Verse

Dueteronomy 7:15 Amplified Bible (AMP)
15And the Lord will take away from you all sickness, and none of the evil diseases of Egypt which you knew will He put upon you, but will lay them upon all who hate you.

Deuteronomy 28:1-14,61 Amplified Bible (AMP)

1IF YOU will listen diligently to the voice of the Lord your God, being watchful to do all His commandments which I command you this day, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth.
2And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you if you heed the voice of the Lord your God.
3Blessed shall you be in the city and blessed shall you be in the field.
4Blessed shall be the fruit of your body and the fruit of your ground and the fruit of your beasts, the increase of your cattle and the young of your flock.
5Blessed shall be your basket and your kneading trough.
6Blessed shall you be when you come in and blessed shall you be when you go out.
7The Lord shall cause your enemies who rise up against you to be defeated before your face; they shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways.
8The Lord shall command the blessing upon you in your storehouse and in all that you undertake. And He will bless you in the land which the Lord your God gives you.
9The Lord will establish you as a people holy to Himself, as He has sworn to you, if you keep the commandments of the Lord your God and walk in His ways.
10And all people of the earth shall see that you are called by the name [and in the presence of] the Lord, and they shall be afraid of you.
11And the Lord shall make you have a surplus of prosperity, through the fruit of your body, of your livestock, and of your ground, in the land which the Lord swore to your fathers to give you.
12The Lord shall open to you His good treasury, the heavens, to give the rain of your land in its season and to bless all the work of your hands; and you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow.
13And the Lord shall make you the head, and not the tail; and you shall be above only, and you shall not be beneath, if you heed the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you this day and are watchful to do them.
14And you shall not turn aside from any of the words which I command you this day, to the right hand or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them.
61Also every sickness and every affliction which is not written in this Book of the Law the Lord will bring upon you until you are destroyed.

Be blessed & have a wonderful day!
Cheryl

Johnny's Mother looked out the window and noticed him "playing church" with their cat.He had the cat sitting quietly and he was preaching to it.She smiled and went about her work.

A while later she heard loud meowing and hissing and ran back to the open window to see Johnny baptizing the cat in a tub of water. She called out, "Johnny, stop that! The cat is afraid of water!"Johnny looked up at her and said,"He should have thought about that before he joined my church."

Household Hints

Fresh Smelling Clothes: Place fabric softener sheets in dresser drawers and your clothes will Smell freshly washed for weeks to come. You can also do this with towels and linen.

Longer Lasting Candles:
Candles will last a lot longer if placed in the freezer for at least 3 hours prior to burning.

Cleaning Artificial Flowers:
To clean artificial flowers, pour some salt into a paper bag and add the flowers. Shake vigorously as the salt will absorb all the dust and dirt and leave your artificial flowers looking like new! Works like a charm!

Family Matters

The home is the place where all of mankind’s strengths and weaknesses, hopes and fears, sinful and righteous acts, failing and succeeding, and just being human have the chance to take place. Who you are in your own home is who you really are. Your children will develop, for the most part, in their home environment. As Christians, it’s vital that we see our homes as training grounds, equipping camps that will send out soldiers from its walls into the world at large. Below are keys to creating a life school for our children:

1. Be trained by obedience. Obedience is a learned behavior and is the result of much practice and diligence. As parents, we must model obedient behavior before our children, and be faithful stewards over their obedience. The best time to start teaching obedience is at the first sign of rebellious tendencies in your child. Obedience teaching must be done persistently, faithfully, and firmly. (Heb. 5:8)
2. Teach while they are still moldable. Don’t wait until a child becomes set in his attitudes and rebellious ways to teach or train him. As soon as they are born, begin to speak the truths of God over them, to pray over them, and to train them in righteousness. Children are never too young to come to the truth of Christ. (Prov. 22:6)
3. Discipline in love. There are plenty of post-modern psychologists who insist physical punishment should not be used. Not only has their misguided advice helped to produce an undisciplined generation, but their counsel is in direct disagreement with the Word of God. Security comes through love, and the Bible says that if you love a child you will discipline him. With loving discipline, your children will experience greater levels of peace and security. (Prov. 13:24)
4. Don’t ever quit. The raising of children is never something we can consider finished or accomplished. Even after they are grown, the responsibility to pray and intercede for your children is yours. Blessings are yours to transfer, and generational heritages continue to be established long after children have moved out of your home. (2 Cor. 12:14b)
